Sarah Michelle Gellar has admitted that she is often unhappy with her body.
In a recent interview with Health the former Buffy The Vampire actress stated that she suffers from body dysmorphic disorder, and believes many women suffer from this condition.
Speaking to the website the actress said: "I'm a female. I totally have body dysmorphic disorder. I think most women do."
She added: "A make-up artist friend once said, 'I don't think I've ever seen you look in a mirror.' I'm surrounded by them all the time - you sit in hair and make-up - so I guess I just have this mechanism where I tune it out."
The Ringer actress continued to explain that parenthood changed her outlook on how she looks saying: "I just have to remember that I'm human, and I'm a mum. Being a parent changes the vanity at least a little bit. It has to. Your priorities are different."
However, the actress was quick to pitch in that she would never crash diet stating: "I don't believe in trying to trick your body into things. I eat healthy, I exercise, I love food - but I don't like junk food."
