Jessie J has already surrendered in her music battle against Adele at the MTV Europe Music Awards.

The pair are both in the running for the Best UK & Ireland Act but the Do It Like A Dude singer said: “I’ll just try to win it next year.”

Jessie promised not to have any bad blood with the Set Fire To The Rain singer after the awards, which will be held in Belfast this November. Speaking to a UK radio station the 23-year-old said: “I’m not a sore loser at all. I think Adele is great and deserves everything she gets.”

Jessie added: “But do you know what, life isn’t about winning, it’s about learning if you lose.”

Meanwhile, Pop sensation Lady Gaga is leading the pack with six nominations for the 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards. The Born This Way singer is up for Best Female, Best Live Act, Best Pop Act, Best Song, Best Video and Biggest Fans.
