Charlie Sheen: claims his volatile ways and days are behind him

Former Two and a Half Men star Charlie Sheen will claim in an interview on US TV that he's both sober and “calmer” these days.

According to ew.com he will appear on US TV on Friday in an interview with Today’s Matt Lauer. Sheen will also acknowledge “there are portions” of his past “I would have amended a little bit".

When asked by Lauer when was the last time he had a drink or “something more,” Sheen claims: “ I don’t really keep track of the time. It’s been a while, because I feel like, without getting into my feelings about AA and all that stuff, if you’re walking around hanging on to your time, it’s only a matter of time before it goes, you know?”

Sheen - who has a history of bad behaviour involving various kinds of substance abuse - was also be asked whether he's bankable and trustworthy.

“Yeah of course, yeah, one hundred percent, yeah,” Sheen insists. “I guess I would just have to lead by example. Words are only worth so much. It’s the actions and the behavior that matter.”

Sheen seemed to acknowledge that his behaviour after his firing from Two and a Half Men got out of control - but he fell short of saying he regretted that volatile period.

“It was like being shot out of a cannon into another cannon and then being just shot out of that one. It was like from one moment to the next I didn’t know what was going to happen. It was pretty exciting . . .

"I don’t believe in fear and defeat is not an option and I had to live by those mottos. Regardless of how I felt. But yeah, looking back on it, I don’t think I would trade it, but there are portions of it I would have amended a little bit.”
