25-year-old model Abbey Clancy has revealed that she weighs less now than she did before she had her baby girl Sophia.

The star credits the arrival of Sophia, horse-riding and possessing good genes as the reasons for her size.

The former Britain's Next Top Model contestant looked stunning at the GQ Awards last week - just six months after giving birth.

The wife of footballer Peter Crouch revealed that she dropped a stone in three weeks after she welcomed Sophia into the world in March and has since shrunk back down to a size six.

Speaking to Closer magazine, Clancy said: “I’ve just been running around after my baby and horse-riding.

“I weigh less than I weighed before I had the baby and I’m really happy with my figure. I’m lucky to be blessed with good genes.

“My mum is 51 and hasn’t had any work done but she still looks like she could be my sister. She’s a goddess.”

“She helps me out all the time. Mum raised four children alone so it just goes to show that you don’t need a nanny.”

She added: “I hated being off work while I was pregnant. I love my TV gig and hanging out with the This Morning crew.

“During my pregnancy, I phoned Holly Willoughby all the time for advice - she’s so sweet.”
