Pamela Anderson has said that she thinks X Factor USA viewers will "fall in love" with host Steve Jones.
When asked by Star magazine how she thought Jones will do with his new role in the US, she said: "He'll do great - he's gorgeous and very good. The public will love him."
The pair first met in 2004 when Jones interviewed the former Baywatch star and then became romantically involved.
However, Anderson said that their relationship only lasted a "split second".
She said: "I didn't really date him. We had a couple of 'trysts'.
"I called him as soon as I arrived in England but he told me he was in LA! I was like, 'What are you doing there?!' I didn't realise he was hosting X Factor!"
Anderson went on to admit that she is in regular contact with Jones, adding: "Oh, every single time I come to London I call him. I'd love to see him - strictly as friends, of course!"
The actress is currently in the Big Brother house, but will leave later today.
