Neil Diamond has revealed that he is engaged to his girlfriend, his co-manager Katie McNeil.
The singer announced the news yesterday on his Twitter page.
He wrote: "Good news coming from sunny LA/ and you're the first I want to tell/ Katie & I just got engaged/ and I hope you wish us well. Neil."
The 70-year-old star then uploaded a photo of McNeil, saying that he is completely smitten with her.
He added: "I'd like you to meet Katie. I'm lovestruck. I took this photo in London last month."
McNeil produced a documentary about the Sweet Caroline singer in 2009, called Neil Diamond: Hot August Night NYC.
Diamond was previously married to school teacher Joyce Posner with whom he has two daughters and production assistant Marcia Murphy, with whom he has two sons.
