US Army troops have hit out against Soulja Boy's song Let's be Real.

The song includes the lyrics "f*** the FBI and f*** all the army troops, Fightin' for what b****h? Be your own man."

Many US soldiers have responded angrily to the lyrics. Commissioner Fred A. Flores of the L.A. County Veteran’s Advisory Commission said that the song "is very irresponsible. Especially for a person who is an entertainer for the youth of our country." Speaking to TMZ, Flores added that Soulja Boy "should apologize to ALL armed forces."

Sgt. Dunson, a former soldier and current rapper responded with his own rap entitled Change Your Name which includes the line: "you can't call yourself a Soulja if you ain't been through it."

The campaign against Soulja Boy now includes a petition at change.org to have all Soulja Boy memorabilia removed from sale from the United States Army and Air Force Exchange Service.
