David Walliams could take David Hasselhoff’s position on the Britain’s Got Talent judging panel, according to reports.
Speaking to the Mirror newspaper an insider tipped comedian Walliams to be a favourite among show producers saying: "David Walliams was approached before but turned it down. But now he's happily settled, he is keen to explore new work opportunities. And in addition, Simon [Cowell] and he are good friends."
They added:"And if Amanda decides to concentrate on motherhood, Billie Piper would be a fantastic replacement. They're also looking at up-and-coming stars like Jessie J, who'd add a youthful element."
An ITV insider continued to explain that Simon is away and hasn't given the panel much thought saying: “We're in the midst of X Factor and his [Simon] new show Red or Black? is about to launch. The focus is very much on these two shows."
