Popstar Gareth Gates has filmed a documentary for BBC Three about living with a stammer.
The Pop Idol singer will mentor six men and women on his upcoming show Gareth Gates’ Stammer House, with the hopes of transforming their lives.
Gates, who is a fully trained speech coach, wants to pass on his knowledge and experiences about dealing with his own stammer.
Speaking about the show the Anyone Of Us singer said: "I'm really looking forward to letting the cameras in, to see not just the everyday struggle people like me go through, but also the positive outcome that can be gained if you put the effort in."
He added: "Hopefully this documentary will give people an insight into something that most take for granted - speaking!"
Over four days, the youngsters will live together and be given a tough regime of tasks and challenges to control their stutters.
