The Walking Dead star Laurie Holdon has hinted that Andrea may be separating from the group of survivors in the upcoming second series, according to reports.
Warning: Spoiler Alert!
Speaking to TV Guide Holden explained that her character Andrea will eventually grow apart from Rick and the rest of his crew on the hit TV show.
Holden explained: "Here's the deal - Andrea doesn't want to be there. She wanted to go within the CDC [explosion]."
The actress continued by insinuating that she may be teaming up with Jon Bernthal's character, Shane, saying: "If there is one virile man that's an alpha male that's capable of taking care of himself, why wouldn't she leave with Shane? A pack slows you down, so I think it's a little bit of survival coming out."
Back in March, The Walking Dead’s executive producer Robert Kirkman suggested that he was planning to expand Holden’s role in upcoming episodes.
However, the show's director David Boyd has previously dropped hints to suggest that Holden will play more action roles in the new series.
The Walking Dead will be will return to AMC in the US and FX in the UK in October.
