Everyone is wondering how the new X Factor judges are faring in comparison to Simon Cowell, Dannii Minogue, and Cheryl Cole – and what better man to ask then Dermot O’ Leary?
Speaking to the Mirror newspaper about Tulisa Contostavlos, Kelly Rowland and Gary Barlow, Dermot said: “There are three new judges and they all have to step up and raise their game and I think they are doing it. The show definitely feels fresher.”
When asked about Gary Barlow who is rumoured to be trying very hard to fill Mr. Cowell's boots he said: “I think you can see Gary eased into the head judge’s chair quite effortlessly. He has got quite an ambassadorial, almost presidential way about him."

This year's new judging panel are set to win over the hearts of the public, according to the show presenter Dermot O'Leary.
The presenter of the X Factor continued to say: “He speaks so slowly that you do hang on his words. You have got to have be fairly confident to do that."
Despite media comparisons between Cheryl Cole and Tulisa's fiesty personalities, not to mention recent images that showed similarities in appearance, O' Leary confirmed that they are very different people stating: "There is only one Cheryl and, because Tulisa is a young girl, people should not compare her. They are very different girls, very different singers and very different personalities."
Dermot who is in his fifth year presenting the hit TV show claimed that it will be difficult for viewers not to take to Kelly's charm saying: “What is amazing about Kelly is how quickly she got the British sense of humour and how attuned to it she is."
X Factor starts back tomorrow at 8pm on ITV1.
