The Rubberbandits are set to feature in three short comedy films for Channel 4’s Comedy Blaps.
The series of short films will be directed by BAFTA award winning Irish director Declan Lowney, who has previously directed hit TV shows such as Father Ted, Little Britain and Cold Feet.
The Rubberbandits shot to fame with their song Horse Outside in December 2010.
Their popularity grew following their second video launch on RTÉ Two’s The Republic of Telly which reached over 7 million YouTube hits - and also won Best TV Moment of the Year at this year's IFTAs.
The forthcoming Comedy Blaps will be filmed in Ireland in September and available live online on Channel 4 from October onwards to coincide with The Rubberbandits new album and first UK tour.
