Two and a Half Men star Jon Cryer has admitted that Charlie Sheen's sacking from the hit comedy was "an awful thing to be part of".
The troubled Sheen was fired from the sitcom last March following his public criticism of the show's creator Chuck Lorre and his increasingly erratic behaviour. Sheen also described his co-star Cryer as a "troll".
"I never want to go through that again," Cryer told Los Angeles TV station KTLA. "It was an awful thing to be part of. I'm glad that some peace has come out of it. I was surprised with everything that went down."
Ashton Kutcher has replaced Sheen as the lead actor in the show, with Cryer describing the former That 70s' Show star as "amazing".
"Ashton was amazing. He took the roof off the place. The man works hard for the money. It's a lovely vibe," he said.
Cryer added that the death on the show of Sheen's character Charlie Harper will be "funny", but gave no further details.
