Glee star Kevin McHale has been gushing about his ancestral homeland of Mayo ever since he visited the county with his parents.
Speaking to morning TV show Live With Regis in the US, the Gleek, who plays Artie Abrams in the show, said: “We finished the Glee tour in Dublin so I went to spend a few days with my parents in the west coast, County Mayo,"
When asked what the name of the town was, McHale replied: “Errrm, it was right outside of Ballina, “Err around the… ahhh... I forget the name”. He then pointed to a photograph of the area and said: “This”.
“There was this massive lake and we had my friend's cousins showing us around.”

While he admitted that he didn’t make it to Cork to kiss the Blarney Stone, the actor said he had a brilliant time in Ireland.
