JLS heart-throb Aston Merrygold has revealed that he would love to open a restaurant, just like his footballer friend Rio Ferdinand.
Speaking to The Star, Merrygold said: “A couple of years ago, I had the idea about opening a restaurant but it didn’t happen. I need to get back on it.”
“We’re very careful with our money. We play hard but work hard and are smart about it.”
The 23-year-old continued: “We count the pennies definitely! But having my own restaurant is something I’d really like to make happen.”
An insider at Rio Ferdinand’s swanky Manchester restaurant Rosso said: “Aston’s been up here a lot lately. He seems really interested in opening his own place. He’s been looking for some advice from Rio about running it all.”
