Britain’s Got Talent winner Jai McDowall has finally been signed up by Simon Cowell’s Syco and Sony Music, two months after winning the competition.
When McDowall won the show, he feared he would not be given a recording contract, as Cowell’s label chose to sign up runner-up Ronan Parke immediately.
According to The Sun, a source said: "Simon is creatively choosing songs for him and is working closely on his Royal Variety Show performance, which will be a great launch pad for him."
He is expected to debut his album in time for Christmas and will be performing at the Royal Variety Show in December.
