RTÉ’s new TV show Charity ICA Bootcamp will take 16 personalities out of their comfort-zone to face the ICA mentors in a bid to raise money for their chosen cause.

This August 16 well-known Irish personalities will travel to the ICA headquarters in Termonfeckin to take on the challenge of Charity ICA Bootcamp, raising over €100,000 for charity in the process.

The participants include: Paul Gogarty (former Green Party TD), Peter Clohessy (former Munster and Ireland prop forward), Dr Eva Orsmond (Operation Transformation), Emma Quinlan (snake charmer), Dickie Rock (entertainer), Kamal Ibrahim (Mr World), Emma Waldron (Ms Ireland), Siobhan O Connor (Broadcaster), Jessica Kuerten (Showjumper), Keavy Lynch (Pop Star, Barbarella), Frankie Gavin (De Danann, trad musician), Derek Burke (Crystal Swing), Mary McEvoy (Actress, Biddy from Glenroe), Dave Young (Comedian), Stephen Carter (The Carter Twins) and Leanne Moore (singer).

All 16 will be schooled in the domestic sciences by ICA mentors Imelda Byrne, Josephine Helly and Marie McGuirk.

The show will be broadcast over two weeks on RTÉ One at 9:30pm: The first week will see the 16 celebs whittled down to four finalists who will then face the public vote for the grand title of Charity ICA Bootcamp Recruit of the Year 2011.

Charity ICA Bootcamp begins on Sunday August 7 at 9:30pm on RTÉ One, with the live finals presented by Blaithnaid Ní Chófaigh on August 16, 17 and 20.
