Geri Halliwell has launched a collection of evening gowns with high street retailer Next.
The former Spice Girl launched the line, Geri by Next, yesterday, strutting down the catwalk in one of her own designs, a floor-length, midnight blue evening dress.
The collection consists of six floor-length satin gowns, in black, scarlet, azure, mauve, oyster and midnight blue, featuring spaghetti straps, cowl necklines and ruched detailing.

The former Spice Girl has also dipped her toes into fashion before, designing a range of swimwear for Next and modelling the pieces in the advertising campaign.
Speaking about her new line, Halliwell said: "I’ve been sketching everything myself and I’m thrilled with the results. I’ve had the opportunity to make dresses that are not stupidly expensive but still elegant enough to wear to an upmarket event.
"So excited to share my red carpet range with you! I designed it especially for real women, to make you feel fabulous for that special occasion, you deserve it. See you on the red carpet!"

Geri by Next consists of six full length occasion dresses which will be available in stores from October 2011. Prices start at £89 and the dresses come in sizes six to 22.
