Coronation Street star Keith Duffy has said his return to Weatherfield as Ciarán McCarthy will be shorter than expected.
Speaking on ITV's Lorraine, he said: "This return to Corrie is not going to be as long as I would have hoped, because I'm kind of needed in Dublin this year.
"Jay [son] has a big exam year, and my little girl Mia, who has autism, it's her last year in [primary] school and the transition to secondary school is going to be a lot of work for everybody.
"I'm kind of needed there to try and help make that happen."
