Cars and Toy Story director John Lasseter is coming to Dublin next week to take part in a special animation event organised by the Irish Film & Television Academy.

"The animation sector is one of the strongest within the Irish industry, with home-produced feature film and television productions achieving great success and reaching record audiences in Ireland and around the globe.

"To see John Lasseter, one of the world’s leading pioneers of animated storytelling, share his vast knowledge and experience will be a huge thrill for Members of IFTA and his many Irish fans."

Members of the public will be able to enter a competition for the chance to win tickets to the interview, with further details available soon at: www.facebook.com/iftaonline.
