X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger has denied reports that appeared in the media yesterday, claiming that she is engaged to her boyfriend Lewis Hamilton.
Scherzinger’s father Alfonso Valiente was quoted in the Mail on Sunday yesterday as saying: "You know about the proposal? Yes, they are engaged. My future son-in-law is a really nice guy, really down-to-earth. My family all like him."
However the couple, who have been dating for three years, put those claims to rest in a tweet.
Scherzinger tweeted: "Lewis and I woke up this morning and read we were engaged! Sorry to disappoint u all but its not true:)”
Hamilton, who won the Formula 1 world championship in 2008, is currently in fourth place in the world drivers' championship with 109 points.
