Harrison Ford has said that he’d be happy to make a new Indiana Jones movie.

The 69-year-old actor was talking to Entertainment Weekly about the franchise that has netted over $2 billion worldwide and whose most recent vehicle was Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008). Ford also added that he’d like Indiana Jones to die some day (although presumably not too soon).

"I always want my characters to die," he told Entertainment Weekly. "I thought Han Solo should have died at the end of the last Star Wars movie, just because it seemed right for the character."

Ever since the last Jones movie hit the screens, whispers of a sixth was already in the offing. "I'd be happy to make another Indiana Jones movie,” Ford conceded. “But at this point it's all just rumours.”

Ford's current movie is Cowboys & Aliens.
