Actress Idina Menzel has reportedly agreed to return to Glee later this year.
Menzel, who played the character of Shelby Corcoran on the series, is said to be in "final negotiations" to reprise her role, reports TV Line.
The deal will land the Tony Award-winning actress a "major arc" in Glee, which could span between 10 to 12 episodes.
Menzel starred in five episodes of the series during the first season, playing a coach to rival glee club Vocal Adrenaline. Her character was also revealed to be Rachel Berry's (Lea Michele) biological mother.
It was confirmed this week that Michele, Chris Colfer and Cory Monteith are leaving Glee at the end of the third season.
