Lindsay Lohan has reportedly said she really wanted a chance to play Natalie Portman's lead role in movie thriller Black Swan.
The actress - who recently completed her house arrest following the alleged theft of a necklace from a Venice Beach jewellery boutique - apparently said that she should have starred in the film that bagged Natalie an Oscar, because she has had years of ballet training.
Plum Miami magazine writer Jacquelynn Powers claims that the Mean Girls actress told her she did "ballet until she was 19 and was indignant that she was not considered for the movie Black Swan."
Lohan refused to give an interview to accompany the photo shoot she did for the magazine so they decided to run an account of her difficult behaviour with the images.
Power wrote: "Monday morning was supposed to be check-out time, but Lindsay and her posse refused to leave. It was like watching the lights come on at a nightclub after-hours - not pretty."
However, Lindsay's rep told E! News that "the Black Swan comments were completely blown out of proportion. And Lindsay was not drinking on set. The overall picture they painted of the situation is not representative of what actually occurred, tons of things were taken out of context. It felt like a set-up."
