Irish soul songstress Laura Izibor is set to star in 7 consecutive episodes of hit US show One Tree Hill.

Laura, who will play Erin on the show, will be performing Can't Be Love, as part of her television acting debut.

The Dublin-born 24-year-old’s rendition of the theme song I Don’t Want To Be will also premiere alongside her acting debut.

"There’s a musician I fell in love with and a storyline I fell in love with," explained One Tree Hill creator Mark Schwahn.

"and we actually married them together for Laura Izibor. She’s really compelling, I loved her record, I really loved her accent and her vibe, and felt that was an energy we hadn’t included on our show."

The singer-songwriter has performed several sold-out shows in Ireland and opened for James Brown, Aretha Franklin, James Blunt, Angie Stone, and The Roots.

Izibor will star in the show on July 18th on E4 at 9pm.
