Jeffrey Tambor has confirmed that the much-rumoured Arrested Development movie will go ahead.
Currently running on British satellite channel FX, the American sitcom was cancelled by Fox in 2006 after four seasons but enjoys a cult following and massive DVD sales.
The show’s stunning cast included Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, Portia De Rossi, Michael Cera, Alia Shawkat, David Cross and Tony Hale in a tale about the dysfunctional Bluth family and their crumbling dynasty.
“I think what's coming down is, certainly, the negotiation over my trailer is what I think is stopping people," Tambor joked while promoting his new film, the subversive serial killer romantic comedy, Lucky.
"No,” he added, “it's all going straight [with the Arrested Development movie], everyone's on board, I know they're writing," says Tambor, who played the show’s patriarchal figure, George Bluth.
