Rapper Dizzee Rascal was thrown off a plane at the weekend for verbally abusing a flight attendant, according to reports.

Rascal (25) complained that the plane was taking too long to take off from London’s Heathrow airport. The English singer/songwriter whose real name is Dylan Mills was scheduled to perform at the Optimus Alive Festival on Saturday night but had to cool his heels in Heathrow when the British Airways flight departed without him.

The Ivor Novello winner now faces a possible life-long ban from BA, according the The Sun.

A spokesman for the singer said: "He was disappointed not to be able to perform."
