Joe McElderry has suggested that he may make a musical comeback following his success on Popstar to Operastar.
Despite being dropped from record label Syco in April, McElderry has promised some "exciting" new developments in his career.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper he said: "I had a very exciting meeting last weekend. I'm going to be very busy over the next couple of weeks, put it that way."
The Ambitions singer further expressed hope that X Factor and Syco boss Simon Cowell would support him in his future plans and watch him in the Popstar to Operastar final tomorrow.
He said: "I just hope Simon Cowell is watching. Maybe he can tune in on Sunday and see what he's missed!"
McElderry will compete against Bucks Fizz singer Cheryl Baker in the Popstar to Operastar final, which airs Sunday at 8pm on ITV1.
