Glee heart-throb Chord Overstreet has been dropped from the musical show as major changes are made to the cast.
The 22-year-old, who joined the cast last season as Sam Evans, took to his Twitter account yesterday to express his feelings.
“Well its been a good yr too bad its over, time for summer and starting fresh,”
According to the Daily Mail, Overstreet will not be returning as a regular character, however creators have not ruled out the prospect of the star coming back as an occasional guest star as the third season gets underway.
As for the original characters, they will be graduating next season as they complete their senior year.
Speaking to Ryan Seacrest, creator Ryan Murphy said: “We didn't want to have a show where they were in high school for eight years.”
