Sex & The City star Kim Cattrall is to revive her role as Amanda in Noel Coward's Private Lives for a Broadway run.

The actress will team up with fellow Canadian Paul Gross for the comedy, which she won acclaim for last year in London's West End.

It is the tale of a divorced couple who discover they have adjoining rooms while honeymooning with their new spouses.

Sir Richard Eyre's production of Private Lives at London's Vaudeville Theatre was a big hit among critics and theatregoers.

Simon Paisley Day, Anna Madeley and Caroline Olsson make up the rest of the cast. The play will open at the Music Box Theatre in November.

According to BroadwayWorld.com, the play will have a limited run at Toronto's Royal Alexandra Theatre in Canada prior to hitting Broadway.
