EastEnders star Jake Wood has revealed he is looking forward to the huge twist that is in store for Max and Tanya as their affair continues. Warning spoiler alert!
From their tit-for-tat bickering and lusty glances across the bar in the Vic, no one is that surprised that former husband and wife Max and Tanya have embarked on a passionate affair, while their respective partners Vanessa and Greg haven’t a notion what is going on.
Brian Kirkwood, executive producer of Eastenders told Digital Spy recently that viewers can expect a “huge, life-changing shock for Tanya” as things hot up between her and Max.
He continued: "There's a big twist and the reveal of the affair and the fallout from that will just be the start of another chapter.
"The storyline with Max and Tanya cheating on their partners with each other builds to a point, and then it goes somewhere else entirely. It's going to be very exciting."
Meanwhile Jake Wood has admitted that Vanessa is not a lady to be messed with and that there are going to be some serious ramifications when she finds out what Max has been up to.
He said: “There are some big things ahead for Vanessa. She's not a lady to be crossed.
"She's given up everything for Max and I think we're going to see a completely different side to her soon. It's going to be great."
