'Take That' singer Robbie Williams was left stunned by fans in Croke Park, Dublin, where the band performed two nights in a row at the weekend.
The popstar described Sunday night's concert as a "life-defining" experience.
He wrote on his official website: "The gigs have ranged from brilliant to religious every night but Sunday night Croke Park was life-defining. It will stay with me for as long as I live.
"The overwhelming goodwill, love, smiles, happiness, approval and acceptance beaming straight to the stage transformed me from preening peacock prima donna showman to a ball of mush within seconds."
The singer said that he approached Sunday night's show with "trepidation" as he gave everything on Saturday night's concert, but the experience was so powerful that he was left "proper floored".
