According to reports, Cheryl Cole has been helped to 'heal' from her X Factor USA drama by star astrologer Russell Grant.
The 60-year-old has sent three so-called 'healing crystals' to the Girls Aloud singer, which he claims will bestow her with "protective energy", defend from "psychic attack" and "dissipate nervous energy".
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, the crystal power expert said that Cheryl was in need of help after being "let down" by former colleague Simon Cowell and bumped from the X Factor panel in favour of Nicole Scherzinger.
He further stated: "Cheryl needs this at the moment. I feel sorry for her. I think she has been really let down."
A source close to Cole also revealed that Grant's suggestion of mystical therapy had been backed by her loved ones.
The source said: "Cheryl's friends have been really concerned. They told Russell to send her whatever he thought she would need."
Cole's former X Factor colleague Paula Abdul was reported to have suggested crystal healing as a way of combating the 27-year-old's "negative" attitude.
It was alleged yesterday that Cole is in talks to star in upcoming BBC competition The Voice.
