Jack White and Karen Elson have announced that they are divorcing, and plan to mark the occasion with a divorce party.
The couple have planned a celebration in Nashville to honour their pending divorce, sending out an invitation to friends which said they are hosting a "party to celebrate their sixth anniversary and their upcoming divorce with a positive swing band hum dinger".
The invitation said: "The party will include dancing, photos, memories and drinks with alcohol in them. This is only for close personal friends and family so please no plus ones or dead beats."
The rocker and his model wife, who have been married since 2005, have two children together, Scarlett and Henry Lee.
They said in a statement: "We remain dear and trusted friends and co-parents to our wonderful children Scarlett and Henry Lee. We feel so fortunate for the time we have shared and the time we will continue to spend both separately and together watching our children grow."
The couple did not give a reason for their split.
