Irish rockers U2 have postponed the release of their latest album, due to troubles with their ‘Spider-Man’ musical.
According to The Star, Bono admitted that he and the Edge were working hard trying to save their musical. He said: “But we don’t tell Larry and Adam that.”
He added: “It’s not like song writing has stopped.
“We’re crushing tunes every day. Our drug of choice in this band is doing really difficult things.”
Speaking to Rolling Stone magazine, Bono said that everyone is gutted by the delay, but it was the only sensible decision.
The band hopes to release an album next year and not before the end of their current tour.
