Singer Jai McDowell and dancer Steven Hall are the latest acts to make it through to Saturday night’s final of 'Britain’s Got Talent'.
McDowell topped the public vote last night after a performance of ‘Bring Me To Life' by US rockers Evanescence.
Steven Hall had to fight it out with singer Edward Reid for his final spot vying for the judges’ votes. Hall was backed by judges Michael McIntyre, Amanda Holden and Simon Cowell. David Hasselhoff chose to back Edward Reid.
McIntyre said of McDowell’s performance "The power, the passion, it's like having William Wallace here. The only thing missing is you should end all your songs with 'freedom'."
Cowell commented "It was dramatic, the staging was great, you're confident, strong. I think a lot of people at home are going to like you."
They will be battling it out with confirmed finalists Les Gibson, James Hobley, New Bounce, Jean Martyn, Ronan Parke and Paul Gbegbaje on Saturday.
The last live semi-final takes place tonight.
