The chief executive of Britain's Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra has been appointed to the same role at the National Concert Hall in Dublin.
Simon Taylor will take up his new role in September.
He is a former head of RTÉ's Performing Groups and was responsible for both the RTÉ National Symphony and RTÉ Concert Orchestras.
He is currently Chair of the Association of British Orchestras.
