Alex Gerrard, wife of Liverpool striker Steven, has revealed that the couple are expecting their third child. Speaking in OK! magazine, the 28-year-old who is over three months pregnant, said that they were thrilled with the pregnancy which has brought herself and her husband even closer.
“It's great because he's had loads of time off and we're both really happy,” she said. 'He's being so nice. He took me away to Dubai and got me a very nice present. He's very caring and is looking after me.'
The couple’s two other children, Lilly-Ella (7) and Lexie (5) were also excited by the news. 'They're both really excited,” said Alex. “They haven't stopped talking about it. They keep saying to me, "Mum, is it still in there?" '
