Danny Miller has spoken about his long run of high-profile storylines on 'Emmerdale', saying he is "honoured" to have been given these opportunities on the soap.

The actor, who has played character Aaron Livesy since 2009, has portrayed Aaron comes to terms with his sexuality and embarking on a relationship with Jackson Walsh (Marc Silcock).

Recently, Aaron has struggled to accept Jackson's wishes to commit suicide due to his paraplegia.

Miller told Digital Spy: "I'm always honoured to work for Emmerdale and to get storylines that people don't always get to have at such a young age, working on a big soap, so I'm honoured that the bosses at Emmerdale have given us the opportunity to play out some massive storylines."

The actor also discussed the scenes for the assisted suicide plot, saying: "They've been tough - any emotional scenes are tough to do, but we've enjoyed it and we've played out what we think is a believable story."

Miller won the Best Actor Award at this year's British Soap Awards.
