Saoirse Ronan and Gemma Arterton have signed up to play vampires in a new film called 'Byzantium'.
Oscar-winning filmmaker Neil Jordan will direct the movie which tells the story of a mother vampire who turns her own daughter into a vampire, who then form a lethal partnership.
The film, which is budgeted at $11 million according to Reuters, is set to begin shooting in October.
The script was written by Moira Buffini, who also wrote the screenplay for 'Tamara Drewe', which starred Arterton in the lead role.
