Gordon Ramsay's mother-in-law plans to sue him as their family feud hots up.

The feud between Gordon Ramsay and his wife’s family saw further developments yesterday when it emerged that his mother-in-law plans to sue him at an employment tribunal.

Ramsay’s brother-in-law and nephew are also launching claims after the chef sacked them last year. Ramsay’s father-in-law, Chris Hutcheson, who assisted Gordon in the early days of his restaurant business, was also dismissed.

Ramsay had unsuccessfully tried to make peace with Greta Hutcheson, 66, mother of his wife Tana. She is claiming unfair dismissal, a breach of working time regulations, failure to pay redundancy monies and breach of contract.

Her son Adam Hutcheson and grandson Christopher Luke Hutcheson are bringing claims on the same grounds. Mrs Hutcheson’s husband, 62, was the financial expert in Ramsay’s empire. He was chief executive of Gordon Ramsay Holdings Ltd until the two men fell out last year when the chef sacked him.

Mr Hutcheson accused Ramsay of ‘violent mood swings’ and even speculated that he might be on drugs, which the chef denied.
