Actress Kelsey-Beth Crossley has used her Twitter page to confirm that she is leaving the ITV soap 'Emmerdale'.
The 18-year-old, who plays Scarlett Nicholls, wrote on Twitter: "The most stressful part of auditions is waiting for a verdict! Ahh ha! X."
When asked by fans if this meant she was leaving 'Emmerdale', Crossley confirmed her departure and then added: "Thanks guys [for good wishes], had to announce because I didn't know how to reply to the tweets asking about storylines. Love you all and the support xxxxxx."
