Michael Fassbender is in talks to star in Danny Boyle’s new movie, Trances. The Killarney-reared actor, whose stock has soared ever since his compelling performance as Bobby Sands in Hunger, would top of the bill in the thriller, a remake of a 2003 art heist movie.
If Fassbender seals the deal he would play the leader of a gang of thieves caught up in trying to locate a priceless work of art. Boyle, who also co-produces, is likely to start shooting the film this autumn ahead of working on the Summer Olympics 2012.
