Irish actor Emmett J Scanlan has been nominated in four categories for this year's British Soap Awards.
The Dublin-born actor, who plays Brendan Brady in the Channel 4 soap, is nominated for Best Actor, Best Newcomer, Villain of the Year and Best On-Screen Partnership with co-star Kieron Richardson (Ste Hay).
ITV's 'Coronation Street' leads this year's shortlist, with Irish star Keith Duffy among the nominees.
Duffy's nomination for Sexiest Male as Ciarán McCarthy is one of 17 nominations for 'Coronation Street'.
'EastEnders' has received 16 nominations, 'Emmerdale' 13, 'Hollyoaks' 12 and 'Doctors' three.
The awards take place in Manchester on Saturday, 14 May.
