'Coronation Street' fans have been told that new character Stella's (Michelle Collins) arrival in Weatherfield will be an eventful one.

The Sun reports that that the new boss of the Rovers Return will save Leanne Barlow (Jane Danson) from an armed robbery in the betting shop.
She will reportedly push one of the robbers to the ground as they attempt to hit Leanne with a baseball bat.
A source told the paper: "Stella will be a landlady with nerves of steel. She is going to be great for Corrie and these scenes show just how much bosses are expecting from Michelle."
