Paris Hilton's boyfriend Cy Waits has reportedly been attacked outside a courthouse in the US.
Waits was accompanying Hilton to a court hearing where she was due to testify against Nathan Parada, the man who allegedly broke into her house last year.
As the couple arrived at the court, an unknown man "lunged" at Waits and grabbed him by the neck, before being restrained by their security staff, TMZ reports.
Following the incident, the man was taken into police custody.
Hilton took to her Twitter account and contacted her mother Kathy Hilton to tell her that the individual: "just punched Cy in the back of the head as we were walking into the court house. So scary! :("
