Jedward have become one of Ireland's top Twitter users as their total followers topped 200,000 for the first time yesterday.
Twins John and Edward celebrated their success with this announcement: "200,000 followers: 100,000 followers for John and 100,000 followers for Edward! Go Team Jedward."
They have tweeted 11,400 times since joining the social networking site 18 months ago, reports the Irish Daily Mail.
Boyzone star Ronan Keating is the second most popular Irish star on Twitter, with 121,000 followers, despite his tweets only totalling 615.
Former Westlife star Brian McFadden reached the 100,000 followers mark on Twitter yesterday and celebrated by posting: "100,000 followers. Woo hoo."
