Lindsay Lohan has revealed that she has made "a lot of mistakes" in the past, but is willing to work hard to rebuild her reputation in the film industry.
The actress appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and said that she wanted to be known for her work and "not about things that I didn't get into this business for".
She said: "I've made a lot of poor decisions in the past and I'm dealing with the consequences of those decisions... I'm a fighter and I know that I have to work to gain the respect back.
"I'm not a kid any more, I'm 24, I've made a lot of mistakes, and I recognise that. But I'm in the clear now, and I feel like as long as I stay focused, then I will be able to achieve what I want to achieve."
