Film director Ken Loach was hospitalised yesterday after sustaining a head injury on the set of his latest movie.
According to The Daily Record, 'The Wind That Shakes The Barley' director was rushed to Glasgow's Royal Infirmary after falling while climbing a stairs.
A source said: "Lots of the crew were rushing around in a huge panic. Ken slipped on a step coming up from the canteen and cracked his head."
A spokesperson for the hospital later confirmed that Loach had been admitted to be monitored overnight.
