BBC One's hit satirical news quiz Have I Got News For You is to have its first co-hosts in the shape of ‘Masterchef's’ John Torode and Gregg Wallace.
We’re used to seeing them in the kitchen but this May John Torode and Gregg Wallace will be taking the reins on BBC One’s satirical news quiz ‘Have I Got New For You’.
The duo will record their show on Thursday 12 May for transmission on Friday 13 May, shortly after the final of the current series of Masterchef is broadcast on 27 April.
Gregg says: "It's brilliant being on Have I Got News For You. I've watched it for years and never dreamed I'd ever be on it. Mum's going to be so proud!"
John adds: "Have I Got News For You is a fantastic show and I'm really excited to be asked to be part of the first-ever double act to host it. Quizzes don't get tougher than this!"
Richard Wilson, executive producer for Hat Trick Productions, says: "Have we booked two of them? There must be some mistake."
Other hosts confirmed for the current series include Jeremy Clarkson and Jo Brand.
